Frequently Asked Questions about SMP

Get the answers to the most common questions about scalp micropigmentation (SMP) so you can move forward with confidence.

What is SMP?

SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation) is a non-surgical treatment that creates the look of  natural hair follicles. It can restore a receding hairline, add density to thinning areas, or cover scars.

How many sessions will I need?

Most clients need 3 sessions (sometimes a 4th for refinement). Sessions are spaced out 2 weeks apart for the best results.

Does SMP hurt?

Discomfort is mild. We apply numbing cream and take breaks as needed. Most clients compare it to light scratching.

How long does SMP last?

On average 3-5 years. A quick touch-up every couple of years keeps it fresh.

Is SMP Safe?

Yes. SMP is a non-invasive procedure. We use sterile equipment, top-quality pigments, and follow strict hygiene practices to ensure safety.

Will SMP look natural?

Absolutely. SMP is designed to replicate the look of natural hair follicles and blends seamlessly with your existing hair.

Who is SMP for?

SMP is suitable for men and women experiencing hair thinning, bald spots, receding hairlines, or scalp scars.

Can I still shave or cut my hair after SMP?

Yes. You can maintain your normal grooming routine - SMP won't interfere with shaving, cutting, or styling.
